Founded by dermatologist and skin cancer expert (MD PhD) Dr Daniel Kadouch, Tenue de Soleil was created with one purpose: to champion children’s skin care, protecting future generations and promoting a sun-smart culture.

Daniel lives in Amsterdam and works at Centrum Oosterwal in Alkmaar, the Netherlands. In addition to his work as a dermatologist, Daniel is a father of three young children. He understands better than anyone the hassle and challenges parents face aiming to protect their young children from sun damage.

That’s why he created Tenue de Soleil: Sun smart & Sustainable UV protective swimwear for children! Expertly designed to offer best coverage and comfort, so children can get on with the important things, like building the biggest sand castle.

Join our sun smart culture and get ready for a summer with no hassle, no waste and no more worrying about burnt shoulders!

Everything Tenue de Soleil does is to ensure the safety of your children and the environment they play in. We use dermatologically tested, UPF50+ UV-protective fabrics and our clothes are designed to offer the best balance of coverage and comfort for safe play in the sun (European EN 13758-2 & Joint Australian/ New Zealand AS/NZS 4399:2017 standards) .

Whilst we understand the importance of sun safety, summertime should be about having fun. Whether that’s building sandcastles, exploring rock pools or splashing around in the water, Tenue de Soleil swimwear lets kids be kids so parents can focus on enjoying the moment, all the while knowing their little ones are fully protected from the sun.
